If you are healthcare professional:
- Please note that MPs can only represent people who live in their constituencies. So you should contact your MP in a personal capacity, not a work one. You should make sure that you do this in your own time, and use your home postcode and personal email address to complete it.
- MPs are more likely to respond and take action when you write about your own experiences and in your own words. If you are a healthcare professional, you could highlight how having access to better PPE would improve both your safety and the safety of your patients and other colleagues. As many Trusts are basing their PPE policies on UK Government policy, try to avoid being critical of your employer and their PPE policies. Focus instead on asking your MP to press the Government to change PPE policy across the whole of the United Kingdom.
- You can still use this facility to lobby your MP and support the action.
